June, 2025
Yves (Les 3 Zouaves) and I had a great time at PunchedCon last month. It was great to meet so many of you there. We were demoing three games: Worthington's 'Gettysburg: A Time for Heroes', and the forthcoming 'Brandwine, 1777' & 'A Crash of Thunder: Austerlitz 1805' from Les 3 Zouaves. All were well received and attracted a lot of attention and comment; which was very gratifying.
Blind playtesting of 'A Crash of Thunder: Austerlitz 1805' (based on W1815, by U&P Games) is progressing well, with the testing of the basic game near complete. We'll then move on to testing the optional Tactics Cards.
And, after much delay, I hope to finally kick-off the blind playtesting of 'Brandwine, 1777' this weekend (7/8 June).
I also want to thank everyone that toolk the time and trouble to vote for 'Gettysburg: A Time for Heroes' in this years Charles. S. Roberts Awards. We await the results with bated breath.
The LYG Shop is closed for the summer, as we once again head off to our home in France. We will take orders throughout the summer, but will not be able to fulfil them until:
And finally...
My thanks as always to our sponsors, advertisers, contributors, cuastomers and visitors.
