I thought I'd share with you something I posted on Facebook this month. It probably got more likes than any other FB post I've made...
Had a chap contact me about buying a game. Had to tell him I was in France for a couple of months and the game was in the UK. He asked "Where in France?". I told him and it turned out he lived 18 miles from where our house is. What are the odds?
So, I now have a local gaming buddy in France. Yves and I got together for for our first face to face game yesterday - and a jolly nice chap he is too.
We took 'Lee's Greatest Victory' (ATO) for a spin. It was close fought and I did my usual trick of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
We're back in UK, briefly, at the end of the month. It won't be long enough to get general counter production rolling again, but I'll probably take orders for maps. I am hoping we'll have the rules and Vassal mod for Fords of Isen (sister variant to Helm's Deep), available for June's LYG update. If so, I'll take a limited number of orders for its maps and counters.
