WHOOSH! And December was gone. A clear sign of getting older I guess.

Happy New Year to one and all. Plenty of reasons to be happy to see the back of 2019 on a global scale but at a personal level it was a pretty good year. Here's hoping 2020 is as good personally and a whole lot better internationally - though recent events in Iraq don't hold out a lot of hope for Peace on Earth.

A fairly modest bunch of gameboxes and mods this month; my thanks to Phil, Tom and Stephen for making the effort.

It is not listed below but if you head over to the Resources page and filter on rules, you'll find something that has been consuming my efforts for a few months  -  an abridgement of the rules for Red Sash Games' Lace War Series. This is an impressive series of 17/18th Century operational level games with a daunting set of rules. I'm hoping this abridged set will reduce the barrier to entry for more of you and so see the games get the wider play they deserve. You can see here that there are plenty of the games that have Vassal  and CB support - and I'll be adding my own gamebox, for 'Army of Roussillon', next month. This will be the first gamebox I have created in a considerable time.
