Oversized Maps - Paper and Canvas

As well as replacement counters and a few 'fan-designed' maps, we are branching out and also offering oversized (and standard size) maps for :

All maps are available in a range of sizes on 140gsm water resistant paper, or on 280gsm poly-canvas. 

The prices quoted exclude shipping. The maps can be sent folded (lowest cost) or in a mailing tube. 

We no longer quote postage inclusive prices as customer often want combined postage on multiple maps and/or maps and counters. This necessitates calculating postage for each order individually to get the customer the best price. This makes the pricing table much simpler.

How to Work Out the Price

  1. Find the game you're interested in, in the list at the base of this page, and identify the map type
  2. Find the size of map you want in the sizing table
  3. Cross reference the size type and material with the map type in the pricing table.
Example: Balls Bluff is Map Type C. I want it  standard size on paper. I'm happy to have it folded. The cost (excluding shipping) is £20.00.

El Carto's Gettysburg 

We will provide this in two sizes:

  • Suitable for 1/2" counters - approx 33" x 23", 16mm hexes - Prices as per Map Type A/Standard
  • Suitable for 5/8" counters or oversized for 1/2" counters - approx 46.8" x 32", 23mm hexes - Prices as per Map D/Max

El Carto's Mosby's Raiders 

This is priced as per Map Type A. However the approximate sizings differ from a regular Map A and are as follows:

  • Standard: 22" x 30"
  • Super : 28.5" x 37.5"
  • Mega: 30" x 39.5"
  • Max 33" x 39.5"

El Carto's Waterloo Series Maps 

We are very fortunate to be able to make Rick's maps for Waterloo, Quatre Bras, Ligny and Wavre available again. These are 100m/hex, suitable for La Bat, Grognard's Incredible Courage, and other such scaled games. 

We're also happy to sell individual sheets from the above sets.
 
Whilst we can provide all of the above sizes of map, we would encourage those looking fo the standard size to check with Grognard Simulations (grognard@grognardsims.com) for their prices.
 

John Cooper Maps by Type NEW OCTOBER

John has reimagined a number of games' maps (mainly Avalon Hill titles) in the SPI style and we're now deligthed to be able to make these available via LYG. 

Some customers, especially in the USA, may also want to check out the same products (printed on a lighter paper) available from War Diary. The cost there may be lower, especially when postage is taken into account.

Due to the variety of sizing, we are presenting 'paper - standard size' options here. Please enquire if you're interested in super-sized and/or canvas versions.
